About
Josie Bell has been writing music for roughly nine years, and musical theater piqued her interest in high school. It was not until college where her dream was realized; to write musical theater. Josie studies at Berklee College of Music. She studies songwriting as a major and musical theater writing as a minor, and finds no greater joy than participating in the productions the school has offered. Roles she has enjoyed while in school are Jonas Fogg in "Sweeney Todd", Clarice in "West Side Story", Rapunzel in "Into the Woods", and most recently, Guido's Mother in "Nine". It has also been an honor for her to originate roles in the world premier of musicals, such as Anca in "Children of the Decree", Serena in "The Kiss", and Mrs. Prescott in "Victoria". Josie looks to the future with hope. As an optimistic person, she wishes to pursue her aspiration when she graduates.
